About Reap Intellect

Reap Intellect, Sorcery, designed by Steven Belledin first released in May, 2020 in the set Dragon's Maze.

This card, Reap Intellect, would benefit a control deck looking to disrupt the opponent's game plan by stripping key cards from their hand and potentially removing multiple copies of those cards from their deck. While Reap Intellect can be powerful in certain situations, it is a high-cost sorcery that requires a significant investment of mana and may not always have a big enough impact to justify its inclusion. In comparison, other cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek offer similar hand disruption at a lower cost and are more commonly seen in competitive play.

Rules

04/15/13

If you don’t exile any cards from the player’s hand, you don’t search that player’s library.

04/15/13

Once Reap Intellect begins to resolve, no player can cast spells or activate abilities until it has completely resolved. For example, the opponent can’t cast any cards that would be exiled after their hand is revealed.
