About Lay Claim

Lay Claim, Enchantment — aura, designed by Chris Rallis first released in Apr, 2017 in the set Amonkhet and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.

This card, Lay Claim, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on taking control of your opponent's key permanents. While it can be a powerful tool in certain situations, there are more efficient options available such as Control Magic or Treachery which offer similar effects at a lower cost. Whether Lay Claim should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, but it may not be a top choice compared to other options available.

Rules

04/18/17

Gaining control of a creature doesn’t cause you to gain control of any Auras or Equipment attached to it. They’ll remain attached, but an Aura’s effect that affects “you” still affects its controller rather than you, the controller of an Equipment can move it during their next main phase, and so on.
