About Kitsune Blademaster

Kitsune Blademaster, Creature — fox samurai, designed by Keith Garletts first released in Oct, 2004 in the set Champions of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

The Kitsune Blademaster fits well in a white aggro or Samurai tribal deck, where its first strike and Bushido ability can capitalize on early-game pressure and combat tricks, making it effective against slower decks. However, there are arguably stronger options, such as Adanto Vanguard, which offers greater resilience and can be difficult to remove, or Skyhunter Skirmisher, which has flying and can evade ground blockers. While the Blademaster can see play for its thematic and strategic value, decks focused on maximizing efficiency and power may prefer these alternatives.
