A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting opponents' strategies would benefit from including Claws of Wirewood, especially against decks that rely heavily on creatures with flying. However, there are more versatile options like Hurricane or Squall Line that can deal damage to all creatures with flying without damaging players, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's strategy. Claws of Wirewood could see play in specific metagames where flying creatures are prevalent, but its cycling ability adds flexibility and could make it a viable inclusion in certain situations.
