About Wolfrider's Saddle
Wolfrider's Saddle, Artifact — equipment, designed by Raoul Vitale first released in Jun, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies, particularly those with token generation, would benefit from including Wolfrider's Saddle. The immediate board presence provided by the 2/2 Wolf token and the evasion granted by the equipped creature being unblockable by more than one creature can be powerful in a fast-paced deck. However, there may be better options for equipment in certain decks, such as Sword of Fire and Ice or Sword of Feast and Famine, which offer additional benefits like card draw or untapping lands. Ultimately, Wolfrider's Saddle could see play in specific aggressive decks, but its effectiveness may vary depending on the overall strategy and card pool available.
Rules
07/12/19
If the equipped creature has menace, it can’t be blocked at all.
07/12/19
The Wolf token that you create enters the battlefield as a 2/2 creature. Any abilities that trigger when a creature with a certain power enters the battlefield will see the token enter as a 2/2 creature before Wolfrider’s Saddle becomes attached.
