About Threads of Disloyalty

Threads of Disloyalty, Enchantment — aura, designed by Tyler Jacobson first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

This card would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's strategy by taking control of key low-cost creatures. While Threads of Disloyalty is a solid choice for its mana cost and effect, a potentially better alternative could be Vedalken Shackles, which offers more flexibility in terms of the mana value of the creature it can target. However, Threads of Disloyalty could still see play in specific metagames where low-cost creatures are prevalent.

Rules

02/01/05

Threads of Disloyalty can’t target a creature with converted mana cost 3 or greater. If it somehow enchants a creature with converted mana cost 3 or greater, Threads of Disloyalty is put into the graveyard the next time state-based actions are checked.

02/01/05

Tokens usually have a converted mana cost of 0.
