Sifter Wurm, Creature — wurm, designed by Filip Burburan first released in Jul, 2017 in the set Hour of Devastation and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck focused on ramping up mana quickly and gaining life would benefit from using Sifter Wurm, as it provides a solid body with trample and the potential to gain life based on the top card of your library. However, there are potentially better cards for similar effects, such as Thragtusk, which provides immediate life gain and a token upon entering the battlefield. Sifter Wurm could see play in a deck looking to maximize scrying and life gain synergies, but may be outclassed by other options in more competitive environments.

Once Sifter Wurm’s triggered ability begins to resolve, no player may take other actions until it’s done. Notably, opponents can’t try to change your library after you scry but before you reveal the top card of your library.
