A deck that focuses on graveyard interaction or artifact synergy would benefit from including Scrounge in their strategy, as it allows for stealing powerful artifacts from the opponent's graveyard. However, there are better options available such as Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead which provide more consistent and versatile graveyard recursion. While Scrounge can create interesting gameplay moments, its narrow focus and higher mana cost may limit its overall effectiveness in competitive play compared to other options.
