A white weenie or hatebears deck would benefit from including Sanctum Prelate as it can shut down key noncreature spells at a specific mana value, disrupting the opponent's game plan. While Sanctum Prelate is a strong card in the right deck, there are potentially better options like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben or Ethersworn Canonist that offer similar disruptive effects. Whether or not Sanctum Prelate should see play depends on the specific strategy and metagame of the deck it's included in.
