About Raid Bombardment
Raid Bombardment, Enchantment, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck that focuses on swarming the board with low-power creatures, such as a Goblin or Elf tribal deck, would benefit from Raid Bombardment as it provides additional direct damage to the opponent when those creatures attack. While Raid Bombardment can be effective in aggressive strategies, there are potentially better cards like Impact Tremors or Purphoros, God of the Forge that offer similar effects with potentially higher impact. However, Raid Bombardment can still see play in certain aggressive red decks looking to close out games quickly with incremental damage.
Rules
12/07/18
A creature with 0 power can attack, as long as it doesn’t also have defender.
12/07/18
If a creature is attacking a planeswalker, and that planeswalker leaves the battlefield, that attacking creature can still be blocked. If it’s unblocked, the attacking creature is still attacking. It simply deals no combat damage.
12/07/18
The power of the attacking creature is checked only when the ability triggers. Once it triggers, Raid Bombardment will deal 1 damage to the appropriate player or planeswalker even if the creature’s power changes before the ability resolves.
