This card could benefit a control deck looking to exchange resources and disrupt the opponent's strategy. However, there are better options like Snapcaster Mage or Eternal Witness that provide more consistent value and board presence. Noble Benefactor may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high cost and limited impact compared to other utility creatures available in Magic: the Gathering.
