About Evil Presence
Evil Presence, Enchantment — aura, designed by Sandra Everingham first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 15 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a mono-black deck that focuses on swamp synergies or benefits from having additional swamps on the battlefield. However, there are better cards like Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth which turns all lands into swamps, providing more flexibility and utility. Evil Presence may not see much play due to its limited effect compared to other options available.

The enchanted land loses its existing land types and any abilities printed on it. It now has the land type Swamp and has the ability “: Add .” Evil Presence doesn’t change the enchanted land’s name or whether it’s legendary, basic, or snow.
