This Deathcoil Wurm card would be beneficial in a green stompy deck that aims to deal massive amounts of damage quickly. Its ability to assign combat damage as though it weren't blocked can surprise opponents and potentially lead to game-winning attacks. However, there are better options available such as Carnage Tyrant, which has hexproof and can't be countered, making it more resilient against removal and control decks. While Deathcoil Wurm could see play in more casual or budget decks, competitive players may opt for more powerful alternatives.
