Zodiac Ox, Creature — ox, designed by Ai Desheng first released in May, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on utilizing land types for strategic advantage, such as a black-green deck with a heavy emphasis on Swamp cards, would benefit from including Zodiac Ox in its lineup. While Zodiac Ox's Swampwalk ability can be situationally powerful, there are likely more versatile and impactful cards available for a 3 G cost. In general, Zodiac Ox may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited utility compared to other options.
