About Webweaver Changeling
Webweaver Changeling, Creature — shapeshifter, designed by Nicholas Gregory first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Webweaver Changeling would be a great addition to a graveyard-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly in a green-based deck that can easily fill up its graveyard with creature cards. While it provides a decent body with reach and a life gain ability, there are potentially better cards like Tarmogoyf or Scavenging Ooze that offer more impactful effects or versatility, depending on the deck's strategy. However, Webweaver Changeling could still see play in casual or budget decks looking to benefit from its changeling ability and life gain trigger.
Rules
06/14/19
If there aren’t three or more creature cards in your graveyard as Webweaver Changeling enters the battlefield, its ability doesn’t trigger at all. If there aren’t three or more creature cards in your graveyard as the ability resolves, you don’t gain 5 life. These don’t have the be same creature cards at both times.
