War-Name Aspirant, Creature — human warrior, designed by David Gaillet first released in Sep, 2014 in the set Khans of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
War-Name Aspirant would be a great addition to an aggressive red deck focused on attacking early and often, as it rewards you for attacking with a +1/+1 counter and has evasion against smaller blockers. While there may be other cards that offer similar benefits, War-Name Aspirant's low cost and potential for early aggression make it a strong contender for inclusion in decks looking to apply pressure in the early game.

Raid abilities evaluate the entire turn to see if you attacked with a creature. That creature doesn’t have to still be on the battlefield. Similarly, the player or planeswalker it attacked doesn’t have to still be in the game or on the battlefield, respectively.

Once a creature legally blocks War-Name Aspirant, changing that creature’s power to 1 or less won’t change or undo that block.
