A Thousand-Year Storm would greatly benefit a spell-heavy deck that focuses on casting multiple instant and sorcery spells in a turn, such as a storm or spell-slinging deck. While it can be a powerful card in the right deck, there are other cards like [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] or [[Grapeshot]] that may be more efficient win conditions for storm decks. However, Thousand-Year Storm can still be a fun and powerful addition to a deck that enjoys casting a high volume of spells in a single turn.
