Sunpetal Grove, Land, designed by Jason Chan first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 19 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Duel Commander.
Sunpetal Grove would benefit a Selesnya (Green-White) deck, as it provides mana fixing for both colors. However, there are better dual lands available, such as Temple Garden, which can enter untapped if you pay 2 life. Sunpetal Grove could see play in budget or casual decks, but competitive decks would likely opt for more efficient options.

This checks for lands you control with the land type Forest or Plains, not for lands named Forest or Plains. The lands it checks for don’t have to be basic lands. For example, if you control Hallowed Fountain (a nonbasic land with the land types Plains and Island), Sunpetal Grove will enter the battlefield untapped.
