About Sphinx Sovereign
Sphinx Sovereign, Artifact creature — sphinx, designed by Chippy first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara.
This card would be beneficial in a control or midrange deck that aims to gain incremental life advantage while also applying pressure on opponents. However, considering its high mana cost and the requirement to keep it untapped to gain life, it may not be the most efficient choice for competitive play. Other cards like Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer could provide similar benefits with lower mana costs and more immediate impact, making them better choices for most deck strategies.
