About Serra's Guardian
Serra's Guardian, Creature — angel, designed by Magali Villeneuve first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Serra's Guardian would be a great addition to a white-based control or midrange deck that focuses on protecting its board and maintaining a strong defense. The combination of flying, vigilance, and granting vigilance to other creatures provides a solid defensive strategy while still being able to apply pressure in the air. However, there are potentially better options for similar effects, such as Lyra Dawnbringer, which offers a more impactful ability with lifelink and a higher power level. Serra's Guardian could see play in certain metagames or strategies that value its specific abilities, but it may not be a staple in competitive decks.
