About Revive the Fallen
Revive the Fallen, Sorcery, designed by Steven Belledin first released in May, 2020 in the set Morningtide.
A deck centered around graveyard recursion and card advantage, such as a Black-based control or midrange deck, would benefit from including Revive the Fallen. While the card provides value by returning a creature card from the graveyard to hand, the clash mechanic adds an element of risk and reward. However, there are potentially better options available, such as Gravedigger or Eternal Witness, which provide similar effects without the randomness of a clash. Overall, Revive the Fallen could see play in more casual or themed decks, but competitive decks may opt for more consistent options.
Rules
04/01/08
If you win the clash, the spell moves from the stack to your hand as part of its resolution. It never hits the graveyard. If you don’t win the clash, the spell is put into the graveyard from the stack as normal.
