Ravenous Leucrocota, Creature — beast, designed by Christopher Burdett first released in May, 2014 in the set Journey into Nyx and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card could be beneficial in a midrange or ramp deck that focuses on generating a lot of mana quickly to activate its Monstrosity ability. However, there are better options available in the Magic: the Gathering card pool for similar effects, such as Pelakka Wurm or Thragtusk, which provide more immediate value upon entering the battlefield. While Ravenous Leucrocota may not be the top choice for competitive play, it could still see some niche use in casual or budget decks looking for a solid mid-game threat.

An ability that triggers when a creature becomes monstrous won’t trigger if that creature isn’t on the battlefield when its monstrosity ability resolves.

Once a creature becomes monstrous, it can’t become monstrous again. If the creature is already monstrous when the monstrosity ability resolves, nothing happens.
