Raking Canopy, Enchantment, designed by Heather Hudson first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor.
A deck that struggles against flying creatures, such as a midrange or control deck with limited removal options for flyers, would benefit from including Raking Canopy. However, there are potentially better options like Hurricane or Whirlwind that offer more flexibility in dealing with flying threats, as they can also be used as direct damage spells. While Raking Canopy could be situationally useful in a specific meta, its narrow focus may limit its overall playability compared to more versatile alternatives.
