Lightning Coils, Artifact, designed by Brian Snõddy first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures or has a strategy centered around generating tokens. Decks that utilize sacrifice effects or have ways to consistently generate nontoken creatures to trigger Lightning Coils would benefit the most from its ability to create 3/1 red Elemental creature tokens with haste. While there may be more efficient token generation cards available, Lightning Coils could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on sacrificing creatures for value and overwhelming the opponent with hasty Elemental tokens.
