About Lazotep Plating
Lazotep Plating, Instant, designed by Yeong-Hao Han first released in Apr, 2019 in the set War of the Spark and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Lazotep Plating would be beneficial in a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing protection for you and your permanents with hexproof while also building up your army with the Amass ability. However, a potentially better alternative could be Dive Down, which also grants hexproof to a target creature for just a single blue mana, making it more efficient for protecting key threats. Lazotep Plating could see play in specific metagames where hexproof and army-building are crucial strategies.

Army is a new creature type. It’s possible to control a nontoken Army (perhaps a creature with the changeling ability) and, through combinations of other cards, it’s possible to control multiple Army tokens. When instructed to amass, you may put +1/+1 counters on any of your Army creatures, and you may choose a different one each time.

If you create a Zombie Army token when Lazotep Plating instructs you to amass 1, that token will gain hexproof until end of turn.
