About Goldnight Commander
Goldnight Commander, Creature — human cleric soldier, designed by Chris Rahn first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A deck focused on token generation or creature swarm strategies would benefit from including Goldnight Commander, as it can provide a significant boost to all creatures whenever a new one enters the battlefield. However, there are potentially better cards for this effect, such as Cathars' Crusade, which provides a similar effect but with more flexibility and potential for larger boosts. Goldnight Commander could still see play in certain decks that specifically focus on human creatures or need redundancy for this type of effect.
