Genju of the Cedars, Enchantment — aura, designed by Arnie Swekel first released in Feb, 2005 in the set Betrayers of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card can be beneficial in a green ramp or landfall deck, providing a versatile threat that can turn a land into a creature for attacking or blocking. While Genju of the Cedars offers some utility with its recursion ability, there are stronger options available such as Nissa, Who Shakes the World or Nissa, Vital Force that provide more consistent value and impact on the board, making them better choices for competitive play.

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.
