This card, Favor of the Woods, would benefit a deck focused on gaining life and maintaining board presence. Decks that rely on stalling the game and gaining incremental advantages would find this card useful. However, there are better options available such as Spirit Loop which not only gains life when the enchanted creature deals damage but also returns to your hand when it goes to the graveyard, providing more value in the long run. Overall, Favor of the Woods could see play in specific life gain decks but might be overshadowed by more versatile options in competitive play.
