Dragonrage, Instant, designed by Tomasz Jedruszek first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged.
Dragonrage would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck that focuses on swarming the board with attacking creatures. It can provide a significant boost in mana and power to your attacking creatures, potentially leading to a quick victory. However, there are better cards like Goblin War Drums that provide a similar effect more consistently, making Dragonrage less likely to see play in competitive decks.

Even though it can generate mana, Dragonrage isn’t a mana ability. It uses the stack and can be responded to.

Remember that unused mana empties from players’ mana pools at the end of each step and phase. For example, if you cast Dragonrage during your declare attackers step, except in very rare cases, the mana Dragonrage generates won’t last until the declare blockers step or the postcombat main phase.
