Doomed Necromancer, Creature — human cleric mercenary, designed by Mark Brill first released in Oct, 2002 in the set Onslaught and was printed exactly in 9 different ways.
Doomed Necromancer would be a valuable addition to a black-based reanimator deck, as it provides a repeatable way to bring creatures back from the graveyard. While there may be more efficient options available, such as Animate Dead or Reanimate, Doomed Necromancer's ability to recur creatures multiple times can be advantageous in longer games or against decks that focus on graveyard hate. It could be a solid inclusion in decks looking to grind out value over time and should see play in the right build.
