About Deathbringer Regent
Deathbringer Regent, Creature — dragon, designed by Chris Rallis first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 9 different ways.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board with a high number of creatures would benefit from including Deathbringer Regent, as it can act as a powerful board wipe when conditions are met. However, for more competitive play, cards like Damnation or Wrath of God may be more efficient options due to their lower mana cost and immediate effect without conditions. Deathbringer Regent could still see play in certain strategies that can reliably meet its requirements, but it may not be a top choice in most competitive decks.
Rules
02/25/15
If you cast a creature spell that enters the battlefield as a copy of Deathbringer Regent, the enters-the-battlefield ability will trigger (assuming the “five or more other creatures” requirement is also met).
