This card, Battle Instinct, would benefit a Beast-Type monster deck that focuses on swarming the field with Level 4 or lower monsters. While it provides a quick way to summon a Beast-Type monster for defense or for a counter-attack, there are better trap cards available in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG that offer more versatile effects or greater advantages, such as Mirror Force or Solemn Strike. Therefore, Battle Instinct may not see much play in competitive decks, but could still be a fun and thematic addition to a casual Beast-Type deck.
