About Armaggon, Future Shark
Armaggon, Future Shark, Legendary creature — shark horror mutant, designed by Mathias Kollros first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Armaggon, Future Shark fits best in a slow, mana‑ramp or control shell—especially in Commander—where you can reliably reach eight mana and want a flash-speed board swing, such as Dimir/Esper control, Sultai ramp, or reanimator builds that can cheat it out and reuse its enter-the-battlefield trigger; flashing it in to destroy up to three creatures can completely reverse a board state. However, at 6BB it competes with more efficient or game-ending options: **Massacre Wurm**, **Sheoldred, Whispering One**, **Archon of Cruelty**, and **Toxrill, the Corrosive** often generate more lasting advantage, while cheaper sweepers like **Toxic Deluge** or **Damnation** are more mana-efficient in traditional control. In Commander it could see play as a splashy, high-impact removal creature, particularly if you can blink or reanimate it, but in competitive formats its high mana cost likely keeps it from being optimal compared to existing top-end threats.
