This card would be beneficial in a spell-heavy Mage deck that focuses on casting multiple spells to generate value and maintain board control. While Archmage Antonidas can provide additional Fireball spells for burst damage or removal, there are better cards like Mana Cyclone or Sorcerer's Apprentice that offer more immediate value and tempo. However, Archmage Antonidas can still be a strong late-game win condition in the right deck and could see play in certain spell-centric Mage strategies.
