This Sunscape Familiar card would be a great addition to a deck that focuses on casting green and blue spells efficiently, such as a Simic (green-blue) control or ramp deck. While Sunscape Familiar does provide cost reduction for those specific spells, there are better options like Noble Hierarch or Birds of Paradise that offer more versatility and ramp potential. However, in a budget or theme deck, Sunscape Familiar could still see play to help streamline the casting of green and blue spells.
