About Sphinx's Herald
Sphinx's Herald, Artifact creature — vedalken wizard, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in May, 2020 in the set Shards of Alara.
This card would be best suited for a control deck that focuses on a combination of white, blue, and black creatures, allowing for a powerful late-game play to bring out Sphinx Sovereign. However, due to the specific requirements of sacrificing those three specific types of creatures, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other cards that provide similar effects without such restrictions. Overall, while it could be a fun and thematic inclusion in a deck, there are likely better options available for competitive play.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.

You may sacrifice multicolored creatures as part of the cost of the search ability. If you sacrifice a multicolored creature this way, specify which part of the cost that creature is satisfying.
