About Rootwater Commando

Rootwater Commando, Creature — merfolk, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Feb, 2000 in the set Nemesis and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

The Rootwater Commando would be a strong addition to a Merfolk tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, especially in formats where Islands are commonly played. However, there are better Merfolk cards available, such as Master of the Pearl Trident or Lord of Atlantis, which provide more powerful tribal synergies. While Rootwater Commando may not be a top-tier choice, it could still see play in casual or budget Merfolk decks looking to capitalize on Islandwalk abilities.
