Renegade Troops, Creature — human soldier, designed by Liu Jianjian first released in May, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms.
Renegade Troops would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck looking to apply early pressure with its Haste ability. However, there are better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more immediate impact for the same mana cost. Renegade Troops may not see much play in competitive decks due to its relatively underwhelming stats and lack of additional abilities compared to other available options.
