About Plaguecrafter
Plaguecrafter, Creature — human shaman, designed by Anna Steinbauer first released in Oct, 2018 in the set Guilds of Ravnica and was printed exactly in 9 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
This card, Plaguecrafter, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the board by disrupting your opponent's resources. Decks that aim to maintain board presence and force sacrifices can make great use of Plaguecrafter's ability to remove threats and disrupt your opponent's plans. While there may be other cards with similar effects like Fleshbag Marauder or Merciless Executioner, Plaguecrafter's versatility in targeting both creatures and planeswalkers makes it a strong choice in certain metagames and should definitely see play in decks looking to control the battlefield.
Rules
10/05/18
As Plaguecrafter’s ability resolves, first the player whose turn it is chooses a creature or planeswalker they control, then each other player in turn order does the same, knowing the choices made before them. Then all the chosen permanents are sacrificed at the same time. Next, each player in the same order who couldn’t sacrifice a permanent chooses a card in hand without revealing it, then the chosen cards are discarded at the same time.

Plaguecrafter can be the creature its controller sacrifices for its own ability. Don’t be like Plaguecrafter; always wear personal protective equipment when performing dangerous work.
