About Lotus Path Djinn
Lotus Path Djinn, Creature — djinn monk, designed by Steve Argyle first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged.
This Lotus Path Djinn card would be a great fit for a blue-based tempo or control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a strong flying threat with the potential to grow in power through its prowess ability. While it may not be a staple in every deck, its synergy with noncreature spells makes it a valuable inclusion for decks looking to maintain board presence while disrupting the opponent's strategy. However, there are potentially better options available such as Delver of Secrets, which has a lower mana cost and can transform into a powerful flyer early in the game, making it a more efficient choice for aggressive strategies.
Rules
11/24/14
Any spell you cast that doesn’t have the type creature will cause prowess to trigger. If a spell has multiple types, and one of those types is creature (such as an artifact creature), casting it won’t cause prowess to trigger. Playing a land also won’t cause prowess to trigger.
11/24/14
Prowess goes on the stack on top of the spell that caused it to trigger. It will resolve before that spell.
