About Life // Death
Life // Death, Sorcery , designed by Anthony S. Waters & Edward P. Beard, Jr. first released in Sep, 2022 in the set Apocalypse and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
This card would benefit a deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and sacrificing lands for value. Decks that can take advantage of the land creatures for attacking or blocking, as well as have ways to gain life to offset the life loss from the ability, would find this card useful. However, there are better cards for similar effects such as Splendid Reclamation or Rise from the Grave which provide more consistent value without the drawback of losing life, making them more viable options for competitive play.
