About Kozilek's Return
Kozilek's Return, Instant, designed by Lius Lasahido first released in Jan, 2016 in the set Oath of the Gatewatch Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck centered around Eldrazi creatures with high mana value would benefit from using Kozilek's Return, as it provides a strong board wipe effect that can be upgraded to deal even more damage when casting such creatures. However, depending on the specific strategy and meta, other cards like Pyroclasm or Anger of the Gods might be better options for consistent early game board control, making Kozilek's Return situational and potentially not a mainstay in all decks.

The last ability triggers only if Kozilek’s Return is in your graveyard as you cast the Eldrazi creature spell. That ability will resolve before the Eldrazi creature spell does. In other words, that Eldrazi won’t be on the battlefield yet and won’t be dealt damage by Kozilek’s Return.
