Haven Veil is a niche defensive tool best suited for slower, defensive Wizard or combo-control decks in Flesh and Blood that want to blunt small, incremental arcane damage—particularly in Wizard mirrors (e.g., against Kano) or versus Runeblades that generate multiple small arcane pings—since it blocks 1 arcane on entry and can soak another point if it survives until your next action phase. However, it is generally underpowered compared to stronger arcane prevention options like **Nullrune equipment** (which provides repeatable arcane barrier without costing a card), **Oasis Respite** (prevents 4 damage and gains life), **Sigil of Solace** (life gain), or even **Sink Below**/**Fate Foreseen** for broader defensive value.
