A deck that focuses on aggressive red spells and burn effects would benefit from including Gleeful Arsonist, as it punishes opponents for casting noncreature spells while also having the potential to return to the battlefield with Undying. However, in a competitive Magic: the Gathering environment, there are likely better options for similar effects, such as Eidolon of the Great Revel or Harsh Mentor, which have more immediate impact and are more difficult to remove, making Gleeful Arsonist less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
