About Driver of the Dead

Driver of the Dead, Creature — vampire, designed by James Ryman first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

A deck focused on graveyard recursion and low-cost creatures would benefit from including Driver of the Dead in its strategy, as it provides a way to bring back small creatures for additional value upon its own demise. While Driver of the Dead can be a useful inclusion in such a deck, there are more powerful options available, such as Bloodghast or Gravecrawler, which offer more consistent and impactful graveyard recursion. Ultimately, the decision to include Driver of the Dead would depend on the specific synergies and strategies of the deck in question.
