About Dream Leash
Dream Leash, Enchantment — aura, designed by Alex Horley-Orlandelli first released in Oct, 2005 in the set Ravnica: City of Guilds.
A control deck focused on stealing and controlling opponent's permanents would benefit from Dream Leash, as it allows for a powerful form of permanent theft. However, cards like Control Magic or Treachery may be considered better options due to their lower mana cost or additional effects. Dream Leash could see play in specific metagames or strategies where permanent theft is crucial, but its restrictive targeting condition may limit its overall utility.
Rules
10/01/05
The restriction that the permanent must be tapped is checked only if you cast Dream Leash as a spell. Once Dream Leash is on the battlefield, it doesn’t matter if the enchanted permanent becomes untapped.
