Cathar's Companion could be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck that includes a mix of noncreature spells to trigger its indestructible ability, providing a resilient threat on the board. While there may be better options like Adanto Vanguard or Selfless Savior for protection, Cathar's Companion could still see play in a deck looking for a budget-friendly option with a relevant ability.
