Ajani Vengeant would be a great addition to a control or midrange deck looking to disrupt opponents' board states while gaining life and dealing damage. However, in terms of competitive play, there are more efficient and versatile options available, such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, which offer more impactful abilities and card advantage. Ajani Vengeant could still see play in casual or themed decks for its unique land destruction ability, but for competitive purposes, other planeswalkers may be more optimal choices.
