About Whispering Specter
Whispering Specter, Creature — phyrexian specter, designed by Jason Felix first released in May, 2011 in the set New Phyrexia.
This Whispering Specter card would be a great fit for a control deck looking to disrupt the opponent's hand size and resources while applying pressure with its infect ability. However, in a competitive setting, there are better options like Phyrexian Crusader or Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon that offer more immediate threats and value. While Whispering Specter may not see widespread play in top-tier decks, it could still be a fun and effective inclusion in more casual or themed decks focused on poison counters and hand disruption strategies.
Rules
06/01/11
You choose whether or not to sacrifice Whispering Specter, and the number of poison counters the player has is counted, when the triggered ability resolves.
