About Unexpectedly Absent
Unexpectedly Absent, Instant, designed by Min Yum first released in Nov, 2013 in the set Commander 2013 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Unexpectedly Absent can be a valuable addition to control decks in Magic: the Gathering, allowing players to temporarily remove a threatening nonland permanent from the battlefield and potentially delay its return. While it can be a useful tool for dealing with problematic threats, there are more efficient options available such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which provide permanent removal at a lower cost.
